This past Saturday Meggers had her first piano recital!
When we first arrived we were handed a program and Meghan quickly realized she would be third to play!
She was so nervous and so excited all at the same time!
Meg scanned the crowd looking for her piano teacher and finally took a deep breath once she saw her walk in.
When it was her turn to go up I could feel my eyes starting to well up, but I bit my lip to keep it together.
She did such a fantastic job!
Her dad and I both gave her big hugs and told her how proud we were of her.
Her teacher gave her a big hug and told her she did great too and for the rest of the night she was grinning from ear to ear!

Awwww! She did a great job! She should be proud! Here’s hoping Princess Nagger follows her lead and does as well with her violin recital on Wednesday…I’m nervous for her, since she hasn’t been practicing! ACK!
Thanks for playing along with us again this week!
Happy Birthday, Mikey! Here’s a Box of Rocks in this Winter Wonderland because Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Who? Santa Baby!

Hey, I’ve been missing your updates – and this one has really put a smile on my face!
Meghan looks so thrilled with herself (as she ought to be) – what did she play?

Haha, I’m still in a right old pickle in the kitchen (made Piccalilli the other day and it turned out so gorgeous that even *I* will eat it)! Health is also beginning to improve (finally!) and we are making tentative plans to marry in the spring

That’s the best rendition of Jingle Bells I’ve heard all day!!
I can see she is so proud of herself (as she should be) in the photo of her and her teacher. She also looks lovely in her festive red dress.
Tell her we are all proud of her also.
Looking forward to future concerts from her.
Merry Christmas!
