Winter Wonderland

This past Saturday my hubby took Moo to the mall to visit Santa!

They were pleasantly surprised when they arrived to find a cute Winter Wonderland set up in the center of the mall.

Meg got to see how her hand measured up to a polar bears…

and she got to play in the snow!

Of course her favorite part was reciting her entire Christmas list while sitting on Santa’s lap!

So todays music pick  is for Meg and it’s Winter Wonderland by Jason Mraz.

Tis The Season You Know….

So I have a few posts in the works but I’m stuck at work today, can’t work on them.  Sigh!

So I have an idea!  I thought it might be fun to link your favorite (you tube) Christmas tune here every Saturday until Christmas.  A sort of “Christmas Carol Count Down”.  You could just post the song and/or a Christmas memory.  Lemme know what ya think? Hey if anything it would be an easy NaBloMo Post right!?  So here are two of my personal favorites.

Just stumbled across this version of Winter Wonderland by Jason Mraz.  LOVE IT!

The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl Fairytale of New York

The Rainbow Connection

Here’s one of my favorite songs growing up.  Who doesn’t like Kermit The Frog Right?  There’s another version of it by Jason Mraz that’s good too. Enjoy!

RAINBOW CONNECTION
Kermit the Frog

Why are there so many
Songs about rainbows
And what’s on the other side
Rainbow’s are visions
They’re only illusions
And rainbows have nothing to hide
So we’ve been told and some chose to
Believe it
But I know they’re wrong wait and see

Someday we’ll find it
The Rainbow Connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me

Who said that every wish
Would be heard and answered
When wished on the morning star
Somebody thought of that
And someone believed it
And look what it’s done so far
What’s so amazing
That keeps us star gazing
What so we think we might see

Someday we’ll find it
That Rainbow Connection
The lovers the dreamers and me

Have you been half asleep
And have you heard voices
I’ve heard them calling my name
Are these the sweet sounds that called
The young sailors
I think they’re one and the same
I’ve heard it too many times to ignore it
There’s something that I’m supposed to be

Someday we’ll find it
The Rainbow Connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me
